You know I love to find out about the provenance of items, well this is an extremely old plate, bursting with detail and colour but I can't find anything about it! It's so old there is no trademark on the bottom, just a small incised mark which would have been made while the clay was still soft.
There is a small chip in the rim and the white is somewhat discoloured because of its age and that is reflected in the price.
