Something a little bit different here! This is the 'Quiktill'. An Edwardian coin sorting oak till, made by Gaskell & Chambers in around 1905, to help change old £1 and 10/-. It should have five glass tubes, but sadly as you can see one is missing and it is missing its ivorine scale too and this is reflected in the price. The drawer does open although as you'd expect it's robust and needs a sharp pull but has a rather satisfactory 'ting' as it does so. It is quite heavy with so many moving parts and made from wood and brass it really is quite unique and not many of them around!
