One of a set of 4 sample prints by the renowned artist Elizabeth Cameron (1915-2008). This is a gorgeous Champagne Rhododendron. The details and colours are just divine and would look magnificent framed.
Cameron attended Slade Art School and St John's Wood Art School. Most of her botanical prints were inspired by the flowers in her own garden at Allangrange. She also published several books of flower prints. She received 3 gold and 3 silver medals from the RHS in recognition of her accuracy in botanical detail and pictorial excellence.
Please note - this is an original sample print used as proof for the limited edition prints. It is stamped as such, marked with an old price and with Elizabeth's stamp. I have taken photos of these so do look carefully. I think this adds to its interesting provenance - a unique piece of botanical print history.
