One of a set of 4 sample prints by the renowned artist Elizabeth Cameron (1915-2008) dated 1975. This is a gorgeous pink Rhododendron.
Cameron attended Slade Art School and St John's Wood Art School. Most of her botanical prints were inspired by the flowers in her own garden at Allangrange. She also published several books of flower prints. She received 3 gold and 3 silver medals from the RHS in recognition of her accuracy in botanical detail and for pictorial excellence.
Please note - this is an original sample print and is stamped as such and marked with an old price. I have taken photos of these so do look carefully. I think this adds to its interesting provenance - a unique piece of botanical print history.
